Best Top Gear chapter Ever?

Top Gear is now one of the longest ever shows on the Bbc (the British Broadcasting Corporation) and rightfully so, as it is one of the shows still running on Tv today with real class and chronic appeal. The 3 presenter s (Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May) have a real sense of chemistry in the middle of them, and there is a set of great on-screen relationships that have provided many humorous television moments throughout the years for the viewers.

With many of the classic episodes now being repeated on the Uk channel naturally called 'Dave', I wondered to myself what the best ever Top Gear part was. In my understanding the best ever episodes are the ones where the team travels across a foreign country or another continent.

Harry And Davids

The first of which was when they bought 3 cheap cars and drove the entire width of Central Africa. This journey was both comical to watch and emotionally captivating, as you well wanted their tired old cars to make it across the entire continent and on to victory.

Another extremely memorable trip was when the gang drove the length of Vietnam (all the way up the Hoi Van Pass) on motorbikes. Despite the agenda being a car show, the gang adopted very well to driving motorbikes, although it did make for the funniest part ever (the scene where they kept buying increasingly large gifts for each other was one of the best ever).

Despite these, I feel that the best part ever was when they tried to destroy the Toyota pickup truck. For sheer amazement this part is the finest, and the way they it was filmed is a true testament to the film-making crew.

Best Top Gear chapter Ever?Final 'Huntley-Brinkley Report' on NBC / July 31, 1970 Video Clips. Duration : 3.95 Mins.

Chet Huntley and David Brinkley teamed in 1956 for NBC's 'Huntley-Brinkley Report,' the very first dual anchor national evening newscast. It dominated the ratings until the debut of 'The CBS Evening News With Walter Cronkite' in 1963. In this final broadcast, as Huntley retires, he and David say goodbye to each other for the last time. At the very same moment 'over on that other network,' CBS, Walter Cronkite was adding his own goodbyes to Huntley, saying that "a giant was leaving the industry." You can watch that clip at: www.youtube.com For you technical geeks, this was recorded in the video tape room of WTVJ-TV in Miami, FL on the air date above on what was then called 'quad,' or 2" video-tape. Over the years, I dubbed it first to 3/4" tape, then beta, then DVC pro and finally to DVD.
